Chairman’s Desk: New Dawn

As we enter the last quarter of 2018, we encourage you to take your mantle and move to higher heights and occupy new territory. Don’t settle for less. There is so much more.

In the book of Joshua 17 verse 14: ‘and the children of Joseph spake unto Joshua saying, Why hast thou given me but one lot and one portion to inherit, seeing I am a great people, forasmuch as the LORD hath blessed me hitherto? (King James Version)

Verse 15: And Joshua answered them, If thou be great people, then get thee up to the wood country, and cut down for thyself there in the land of the Perizzites and of giants, if mount Ephraim be too narrow for thee.

This is a very serious and interesting discourse between Joshua the leader of Israel and the children of Joseph.

According to the children of Joseph, Joshua was to be blamed that they only had one lot or inheritance in the land of Canaan.

However, Joshua was very quick to point out to them that if they are great people, there is the wood country that they can possess too. However, for the wood country to become a possession, work has to be done.

As we start the last quarter of 2018, I challenge you to know that there are territories to be occupied and inheritance to be gotten, however, it requires work. You cannot sit still and expect manna to fall from heaven, you work to possess with God’s blessings resting on you.

Rise up, it is spring time and time for expansion.
